It's Friday I'm in Love

Oh, well... let's be a little cliché and wear hearts for Valentine's day which I don't even celebrate. Haaa, now I know why Christopher Bailey chose the heart print this season.

Actually, these pictures have been taken on a lovely Sunday when me and my mom went for a walk. It was just like in the old days when I was a child and used to play all day long in this forest/park running around in my ruffle dresses.

Happy New Year

Firstly, I would like to wish you a Happy New Year! and all the best for 2014. Did you make any resolutions? I did my homework and my fashion resolutions consist in buying more high quality products and timeless classy items.

Having said that, I will talk about my outfit. I spent my New Year's Eve at my boyfriend's house with his family and some friends. I wore this dress which I initially bought for Christmas. If you follow me on Facebook you probably remember it (see picture below to refresh your memory). This dress is quite magic: makes me look a bit curvy. haha.

I have to point out that I would have worn a pair of pumps with it and not this pair of ankle boots. Unfortunately, I had a bruise on my feet which was quite unaesthetic and I had to cover it.

When I dressed up to hang out the other day I didn't plan to take any outfit pictures. I just put on something cosy and went out to enjoy the unusual English sun, but then I had my camera with me so why not?

Old School Preppy

Well, my darlings, you can't enjoy the sun very often in England. This is how I usually dress like at uni when the weather is nice. When I created this outfit I was thinking of the old school preppy students and also of the A/W 2013 Valentino collection.

The hairstyle is cosy and very easy to do: a simple braid and you're ready to go.

LONDON

I have decided to write a few posts about my favourite places in the world. So, here I go starting with London.

Once upon a time there was a little girl and her biggest dream was to live in wonderful London. I grew up and I'm still fascinated by the heart of the United Kingdom. I like the idea of getting lost in the beautiful streets of London, admiring old buildings' architecture and breathing the monarchic air. This is how I take part in the magic fairy tale and enjoy it step by step every time I get the chance to visit it. Of course, it's dangerous sometimes and has its bad sides like every big city, but this is how I see it.
